I came into options trading the way most people do — from the outside looking in, not sure what I was missing or whether I could learn it.
In 2020, a mentor sat down with me and started explaining the mechanics. Not tips. Not recommendations. The actual process — how traders think, how they manage risk, how they use tools like RSI and covered calls as part of a repeatable strategy.
That changed things for me. And it made me realize how few people have access to that kind of straightforward, patient instruction — especially people who are the first in their families to take this seriously.
I've been actively practicing and trading options since 2020. I started HomeRun FatPitch in 2022 to make that education accessible. No hype. No shortcuts. Just the work.
Outside of this podcast, I'm also the founder of Montgomery Deep History LLC and creator of the From Bondage to Freedom walking tour in Montgomery, Alabama — years of historical education work built on the same commitment to honest, well-researched, accessible teaching.
